Play & Learn Organized Drilling for Intermediates

Joe and Jan Carter will begin their Play and Learn series next week! These sessions fill up fast, so don't miss your opportunity to join in the fun. They will be held every 2 weeks on Wednesdays, and alternate with the Ball Clinics.

When: Wednesday, November 22, 2023, 1pm - 3pm - Sign up is now open!

Purpose: Play & Learn Games are designed to provide a safe and encouraging skills-practice program for Intermediate 3.0 to 3.5 players.

Intermediate Skills:

Is developing consistency and improved accuracy in a variety of shots including drop shots, dinks, forehands and backhands. Improving on sustaining a volley; demonstrates fundamentals of partner play; and improving basic strategies of ball placement.

Drills: The drills clinic consists of 6 drill exercises/games emphasizing dink and drop shot practice.

Outcome: Players develop an increased proficiency and confidence in strategic drop and dink shots.

Drill Control: Overhead and slam hits are discouraged during Play & Learn Games and can be called as “faults” during play.
