Happy anniversary

Phil & Mary, Michel & Monique,

April Fools Day seems to be a perfect time to send a message to Phil, not sure why but it feels right. And I have no idea where we will be Friday.

Sorry we couldn’t be there to celebrate your big days. Congratulations to both couples.

But I have to ask, what kind of precedent are you setting for the rest of us? Now we will have to wait to come down until after Christmas in 2026 to avoid being this organized when we hit the big 5-Oh.

Either that or find my old cell phone from 1971 to get pictures of our first date for a slide show. I think cell phones were invented before the silver fox came out of hibernation. As for including a DJ dance, you know Guy Lombardo isn’t classic rock, right Phil?

We can just see Phil standing on the corner grooving to The Four Lads or Michel “sha bopping” to The CrewCuts?

All kidding aside, congratulations again.  Unfortunately we will miss the party because I think on that day we will be on a hunting trip trying to find an elusive scooter in SE Asia.
