Round Robin Signing up 2 Players

  • 2 min read

This post is for all players who signup for Round Robin Play using Signup Genius. Here are a few things that will make the lives of the Round Robin Coordinators much easier. This post pertains to signing up 2 players.

  1. Make sure you remember to change the quantity of players to 2, the default value is 1.

  2. You must add the name of the second player. If this is not your spouse please use their full name.

  3. Use the comments section to add the name of the 2nd player, and PLEASE use the word and in from of their name so we know there are really going to be 2. Example 'and John Doe'. I know this seems obvious however, you would be surprised at what we see in the comments.

  4. Ideally the person playing should be the one signing up using their account and name. However, if this isn't possible and you are going to sign up for someone else, leave the quantity set to 1, and use the word only in front of their name. Example 'only John Doe'.

  5. Do not signup with your name twice in one day to use this as a place holder for someone else. Again if they can't sign up, there is the option when you are signing up to use an alternate name, use theirs. If you don't do this we don't know who is attending.

  6. The only time you should be signing up 2 players is if its your spouse. You shouldn't signup another club member. The signup is tagged to your account, so any emails regarding that player, or the session, will not go to the player, they will go to you. Example, if you sign someone to the waitlist, if the player drops to the playing list they will not receive an email.
