Scammer emails

Members beware!

A couple of us got this email a bit ago:

Are you free now I need to talk to you by email as I'm in a meeting.

It came from this email address: president628196@gmail.com

Other members got this email:

Would you be able to get an Walmart Gift Cards purchase done for me now at any nearest store with your personal funds? I will reimburse you tomorrow evening. I am planning on surprising some of our diligent Board Members with gifts, I want this to remain confidential until the announcement is made later today.

Please note that none of the officers have sent an email in regard to their temporary volunteer position on this board nor do we ask for gift cards so beware of such emails. Let us know if this continues.
