The Anonymous mystery is solved!

Does anyone know who this player is??
Does anyone know who this player is??

We REALLY need everyone's help on this!!! Please read on!

From the very first time this club started using WIX we have had a problem with how a player's name appears once they register for an event, tournament or round robin. Some rosters display the first and last name of the player, which is what we want, but too many display a partial email address or worse, the ANONYMOUS label.

This problem is easily fixed but each member has to do the work. Here's what we are asking you to do........

Open the Gold Canyon Pickleball Club website and sign in.

In red text at the top of the page you will see your name with a red "down" arrow beside it. Click on that red down arrow. A drop down menu will appear; click on PROFILE.

A red outlined box will appear "EDIT PROFILE". Click on that.

You will now be in your profile settings. The first field at the top of the form is DISPLAY NAME. Please be sure that only your FIRST and LAST NAME appears in this field. Nothing else especially your email address should be in this field.

Now scroll down the Account page to PROFILE PRIVACY and click the down arrow to the right.

If the message is MAKE PROFILE PRIVATE, leave it alone that setting is fine in your profile.

If the message is MAKE PROFILE PUBLIC, please click on that to make your name visible for tournaments and events otherwise you will be identified as ANONYMOUS. When you go "public" on this website your name and contact information become visible to club members only. It would also finally solve the very annoying problem of multiple ANONYMOUS players appearing on event rosters.

Once you have done all of that click on UPDATE INFO (upper right) to save the changes.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to update your profile!!
