Joe Carter Update

Jan contacted us and has given us permission to share her message with you!  Our friend and brother, Joe Carter, passed away with his loving family by his side.  Here is Jan's message:


"It’s with great sadness to tell you Joe passed Monday afternoon.  He had an episode at home early Sunday morning which required a 911 call and an ambulance ride to the hospital.  So much was not going his way.  His diagnosis was sepsis from a UTI infection.  He had aspiration pneumonia with difficulty breathing.  After many doctors talked to us, we decided on Comfort Care, end of life.  He would not have wanted any tubes in him.  He was taken to a room where they kept him sedated.  The breathing apparatus came off and he did fine on his own.  Keeping him comfortable without pain and agitation was our main goal.  He was not going to get better.  It was time for him to find peace.   Kelly, Brian and I were holding his hand when he took his last breath.  Not fun to see but at least we had each other and knew Joe’s struggle was over.  He fought hard for so long.  I was happy to have him home until the last two days"


Please continue to keep the family in your prayers. This was expected but reality is still difficult.

Mountain Court Update

The Mountain Courts are completed but are NOT READY FOR USE!!! The paint MUST DRY before they can be used. We expect to use them next week. Look for further information as to when that will be.
